On September 16, 2025, the United Nations (UN) Independent International Commission of Inquiry on the Occupied Palestinian Territory (OPT), including East Jerusalem and Israel, submitted a report that examines the conduct of Israel in Gaza in the context of the Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide.
