UN Human Rights Council Fails to Extend a Mandate to Investigate into Ethiopia Amid Continuing Atrocities

On October 3, 2023, the International Commission of Human Rights Experts on Ethiopia (ICHREE) released an alarming report warning that there is an overwhelming risk that human rights atrocities will continue in Ethiopia, and it is vital that independent investigations into the country’s dire human rights situation persist.
