Kayishema Files New Asylum Request in South Africa to Avoid Turn Over to Tanzania

On August 31, 2023, Judge Robert Henney held a hearing in the Western Cape High Court on the case of Fulgence Kayishema.  The Department of Home Affairs has accused him and his family of making false statements about their identities and how they were refugees.
