Abstract:
Anthony D'Amato, Chairman, Committee on International Courts, has submitted a report urging the United States to make a modified adherence to the general compulsory jurisdiction of the International Court of Justice.  The Committee believes that the reasons advanced by the U.S. Government to terminate its acceptance of the Court's general compulsory jurisdiction can be fulfilled in the drafting of a new instrument of acceptance.
