Venezuela and the United States Swap Prisoners Again

On July 18, 2025, the United States (U.S.) and Venezuela swapped prisoners. The U.S. sent more than 250 Venezuelans deported in March and flown to a high-security prison in El Salvador in exchange for ten U.S. citizens and permanent residents imprisoned in Venezuela.
