Abstract: 
 On October 17, 1985, hearings were held by the House of Committee on the Judiciary, Subcommittee on Crime, on legislation to provide rewards for information leading to arrest of persons who murder or kidnap federal agents enforcing the drug laws (Narcoterrorism).  H.R. 2013, "Federal Drug Law Enforcement Agent Protection Act of 1985 was introduced on April 4, 1985, and has 50 cosponsors.  S. 630 is identical to H.R. 2013.  Senator Hawkins introduced it on March 7, 1985.  It was unanimously passed by the Senate on March 20, 1985.
