Abstract:
The Geneva authroities may not hand over to the state prosecutors at the Aschaffenburg, Bavaria, District Court, all bank statements of two Turkish customers of a Geneva bank. This was the determination of the I. Public Law Division of the (Swiss) Supreme Court. The court upheld a complaint by the two customers in part. The court decided, however, that the request for information, presented by the German authorities, should be honored by means of international judicial assistance only insofar as the requested information is specified.
