Abstract:
Interpol is urging governments to adopt model legislation entitled "A law to facilitate the obtaining of evidence required in and for the purpose of criminal investigations and proceedings and for the purpose of forfeiting the proceeds of crimes." Ray E. Kendall, the Secretary-General of Interpol, is actively lobbying for governments to adopt the model legislation.
