On September 18, 1986, Tommy Lynn Denley, of Grenada, Mississippi, and John Ambielli, of Lafayette, Lousiana, pleaded guilty to conspiring to violate the United States Neutrality Act in a July attempt to invade and overthrow the Suriname's military government.
