Abstract:

Five European countries say they have requested evidence from the United States Department of Justice (DOJ) under Mutual Assistance in Criminal Matters Treaties (MLATs) with respect to investigations related to deceased convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein and have yet to receive assistance. The DOJ said it does not comment on the status of MLAT requests with foreign counterparts.
