Abstract: 

On March 28, 2023, Philippine President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. announced that he would cut off contact with the International Criminal Court (ICC) after it rejected an appeal asking it to stop investigating his predecessor's (Rodrigo Duterte) lethal war on drugs.[1]
