U.S. Regulations to Enforce UNESCO Cultural Property Convention

Effective March 31, 1986, the United States will have in force customs regulations for the enforcement of the Convention on Cultural Property Implementation Act of 1983, which implements the 1970 UNESCO Convention on the Means of Prohibiting and Preventing the Illicit Import, Export, and Transfer of Ownership of Cultural Property.
