U.S., Egyptian Requests Still in Abeyance in Malta

In the terrorism case involving the Egypt Air hijacking to Malta, the Embassy of the United States in Malta, on December 14, 1985, presented a note to the Government of Malta requesting the provisional arrest of Omar Mohammed Ali Rezaq, the terrorist who survived the rescue attempt at Luqa airport.
