Abstract:
On February 11, 2015, European Parliament adopted by 532 votes to 136 a resolution on counter-terrorism measures. The joint motion for the resolution was tabled by MEPs representing all political parties. The Parliament recalled the recent tragic events in Paris as a reminder that the European Union is facing a continuous and evolving terrorist threat which over the past decade has severely hit several of its Member States with attacks targeting not only people but also the values and freedoms on which the Union is based.
