International Money Laundering

On September 21-23, 1998, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police will host the International Money Laundering Conference, to be held in Montreal, Canada. The conference will deal mainly with the influence of new technologies on money laundering and with the detection of money laundering activities throughout our global village in the coming years. Besides enabling participants to take stock of the various implications of this kind of crime, the conference will sensitize the business community to the serious negative impact of such transactions. Speakers include high level government officials, practitioners from the private sector, and members of academia.
