Russian Indicted for 2009 Attack on U.S. Forces in Afghanistan Appears in U.S. Court in Virginia

On November 4, 2014, Irek Ilgiz Hamidullin appeared for the first time in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia on federal terrorism offenses arising from his alleged participation in an attack on U.S. military forces and Afghan Border Police in the Khost Province of Afghanistan in November 2009.
