Abstract:
An investigation led by Europol and police teams from several European countries, including Germany, Finland, Hungary, Austria, and Slovenia, has revealed ongoing criminal activity in the world of professional soccer. The report released by Europol identified at least 425 match officials, club officials, players, and criminals from over 15 countries who have been involved in the fixing of more than 380 matches around the world.[2]
