Council of Europe Adopts Recommendation on Combating Trafficking in Organs, Tissues and Cells of Human Origin

    At its 6th sitting held on January 23, 2013, the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) adopted Recommendation Towards a Council of Europe Convention to Combat Trafficking in Organs, Tissues and Cells of Human Origin.[2] Both the debate and resolution were based on the report prepared by the Committee on Social Affairs, Health and Sustainable Development.[3]
