Abstract:
On March 8, 1991, the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit affirmed the dismissal of an indictment against two Canadian officials who were prosecuted under the general conspirac statute for violating the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA). In its brief per curiam opinion, which was unanimous, the court adopted and appended the prior opinion of U.S. district judge Barefoot Sanders.
