On July 8, 1992, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and the Comision Nacional del Mercado de Valores (CNMV) concluded a Memorandum of Understanding in conjunction with a meeting of the International Organization of Securities Commissioners (IOSCO) held in Quebec, Canada.
