Abstract:
On March 8, 2004, the Supreme Court of Spain upheld jurisdiction over claims for torture of Spanish nationals allegedly committed by Mr. Hernan Julio Brady Roche, the former Chilean Defense Minister for international human rights violations, namely kidnaping, torture, genocide and terrorism.
