U.S. Appellate Court Upholds Confiscation of Stolen French Painting

On June 3, 2011, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit affirmed the decision of a U.S. District Court to forfeit in favor of the U.S. government for ultimate return to the French government a painting stolen from a French museum.
