Abstract: 
A resolution, led by the United States and approved by the U.N. Human Rights Council (UNHRC), the United Nations’ top human rights body launches an investigation into Sri Lanka’s civil war examining the “alleged serious violations and abuses of human rights and related crimes by both parties in Sri Lanka.”[2]
