OAS Inter-American Juridical Committee Unanimously Opines that US Supreme Court’s Opinion in Alvarez-Machain Contravenes International Law

In a decision released September 1, 1992, the Inter-American Juridical Committee, Organization of American States, in a vote of nine to zero with one abstention has issued an opinion that the decision by the United States Supreme Court in the case of U.S. v.
