Mexico Arrests El Chapo with Help from the U.S.

On February 22, 2014, Mexican marines and U.S. agents arrested Joaquín Guzman Loera, “El Chapo”, an alleged major drug kingpin of Sinaloa.  He was arrested in the early morning in a 12-story condominium in Maztlán, ending long-held assumptions about the impunity of Mexican mobsters.[1]
