Justice Office of Special Investigations Institutes Citizenship Revocation Proceeding

On March 30, 1988, the Office of Special Investigations (OSI) of the Dept. of Justice announced that citizenship revocation proceedings have been instituted against Anton Baumann, a 77 year old U.S. resident.  It alleges that he served the Nazis as an armed SS guard at the Stutthof and Buchenwald Concentration Camps during World War II.
