Abstract:
In a report of a task force appointed by House Ways and Means Committee member Byron L. Dorgan, which was released on May 4, 1987, a number of steps were recommended to fight tax evasion relating to international transactions. The report recommends hiring more special agents, who are specially trained revenue agents dealing with cases involving evidence of fraud or other criminal behavior.
