Abstract:
On October 11, 2013, Pre-Trial Chamber I of the International Criminal Court (ICC) decided that the case against Abdullah Al-Senuissi is currently subject to domestic proceedings conducted by the Libyan competent authorities and that Libya is willing and able genuinely to conduct such investigation. Hence, the judges concluded that the case is inadmissible before the Court, in accordance with the principle of complementarity contained in the Rome Statute.[1]
