Abstract:

On December 6, 2012, despite the difficult diplomatic relations between Guatemala and Belize, the Guatemalan government denied John McAfee’s application for political asylum and prepared to surrender him to Belize, where he is wanted for questioning about the killing of a U.S. expatriate living in Belize.[1]
