Abstract:
On December 10, 1992, it was announced that the German Interior Ministry is planning to increase checks at the border with Poland, and the Czech and Slovak Republics by allocating 2,000 Bundeswehr soldiers for border support. The same number of officials are needed in the Federal Border Police in the area of the Presidium East, where the largest number of illegal immigrants arrive.
