Abstract: 
The Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe-the 23 nation international organization with its seat in Strasbourg, France- adopted on September 10 a new international convention (the Convention on laudering, search, seizure and confiscation of the proceeds from crime) designed to fight international crime, including illicit drug trafficking, money-laundering and other serious criminality.
