Abstract: 
Summary of Proceedings: The Role of Interpol: Serge Sarbourin, Interpol Headquarters explained that there has never been a more challenging, dynamic time for Interpol.  Interpo must ensure that the necessary infrastrucutre is in place.  The three important qualifications are: the bulk of Interpol's work involves Europe. This work may serve as a model for other countries. The speed of change is such that it may be difficult to predict the future. He noted that he would base his talk on interpol's five year plan.
