INTERPOL Issues "Orange Notice" for Escaped Bolivian Murderer


On April 7th, 2012 INTERPOL issued an international security alert following a convicted murderer’s escape from a Bolivian prison on March 30, 2012. The prisoner, Jaime Cardena Pardo, was being held in San Roque prison in Sucre, Bolivia following his murder conviction. After the INTERPOL Command and coordination Centre learned of the details of Cardena Pardo’s crimes, INTERPOL issued the international security alert, or “Orange Notice.” This warning includes Cardena Pardo’s photograph and has been issued to law enforcement officers in INTERPOL’s 190 member countries.
